Refund Policies / Refund Reqeusts
Important Notice: Refund Policies for Events on iPLEXsports / iPLEXtickets
We want to be fully transparent: iPLEXsports and iPLEXtickets do not set, enforce, or process refund policies for any event.
We are purely the hosting and ticketing platform—each tournament director or event organizer independently determines their own refund rules for their specific event. These policies are displayed on the event page, during checkout, and/or in your confirmation email. By purchasing tickets, you agree to the organizer's stated terms.
Why Strict or No-Refund Policies Are Common in This Space In youth sports, club volleyball tournaments, and similar athletic events (including spectator passes), strict policies like these are industry standard:
- All sales final / non-refundable — Many events state: "Event passes are non-refundable. All sales are final. There are no refunds on purchased tickets for this event."
- No refunds for used/scanned tickets, no-shows, personal reasons, weather delays, minor schedule changes, or other issues.
- Limited windows — Some allow partial refunds only if requested well in advance (e.g., weeks or months before the event start), with fees deducted; after a cutoff, no refunds or credits only.
This approach helps organizers cover fixed costs (venues, staffing, insurance, etc.) that are incurred early, even if attendance drops. It's similar across many live, time-specific events where the value depends on being there in person.
These Policies Are Generally Legally Enforceable When the policy is clearly disclosed before purchase (on the event details, checkout page, terms, etc.), completing the transaction creates a binding agreement. This is widely accepted in the ticketing industry for perishable experiences like tournaments.

- Contact the tournament director/event organizer directly (their contact info is usually listed on the event page).
- Reach out before purchasing if the policy is unclear or you're unsure about attending.
