Important Notice: Refund Policies for Events on iPLEXsports / iPLEXtickets

We do not set or enforce refund policies.

Refund policies are determined and managed independently by each tournament director or event organizer for their specific event. iPLEXsports and iPLEXtickets serve only as the hosting and ticketing platform.

No-refund policies are standard in this industry.

Strict no-refund policies are very common for youth sports, club volleyball tournaments, and similar athletic events. Many organizers apply the same approach to spectator tickets/admissions. Examples from real events include:

  • "Event Passes are Non-Refundable. All Sales are Final. There are no refunds on purchased tickets for this event."
  • "Refunds are not available for used or scanned tickets."

Why These Policies Are Generally Allowed

Contractual agreement: When the no-refund policy is clearly and prominently disclosed before purchase (e.g., on the event page, ticketing checkout, terms & conditions, or confirmation email), buyers accept it by completing the transaction. This forms a binding agreement.

Industry standard for live events: Spectator tickets provide access to a time-specific, perishable experience. Refunds are rarely issued for no-shows, personal reasons, weather delays, minor schedule changes, or similar issues, as the value is tied to attendance on the event day(s).
